B-Tech AV Mounts has moved to create an improved service and distribution model throughout mainland Europe.
In a move that addresses any uncertainty over Brexit, as well as bringing a better supply structure direct to its EU customers, B-Tech has invested heavily in its Belgium warehouse and showroom, which will now provide a European hub for distribution to its Continental teams.
B-Tech’s European offices and operations in Berlin, Brussels and Barcelona had previously relied on stock from the company’s large UK headquarters. However, investment in new floor-to-ceiling racking, plus a new showroom, will see B-Tech’s Belgian operations – B-Tech Pro-AV BVBA – now sourcing and stocking direct to its sister companies – providing a more direct distribution route to EU customers.
Matt Bennet, CEO of B-Tech Group, said: “Following our recent reorganisation, operations in Belgium now see our stockholding capacity increased about four-fold – giving us the ability to hold far more stock in Europe than ever before. This move helps us and our customers deflect any import/export concerns regarding Brexit, as we will feel little effect, whatever the outcome. With Tom Meylink’s appointment as our Director of European Operations announced late last year, we are now in a perfect position to further solidify our position as a leading provider of AV mounts throughout the continent.”
B-Tech’s 60,000 sq ft UK warehouse remains the company’s largest stocking facility, and will continue to supply for England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, as well as providing stock reinforcement for Europe, if required.
