B-Tech International Ltd has continued its worldwide expansion by opening an office in
mainland China to supplement its Hong Kong operation.

There are four staff at the new base in Ningbo – two hours south of Shanghai – which acts as
a regional sales and distribution centre for the Asia-Pacific region.

The company has been established in Hong Kong for over a decade but the emergence of
mainland China as an economic force brought opportunities that B-Tech didn’t want to miss.

Staff in China will be responsible for product quality control, factory inspections, logistics
support as well as sales and distribution.

One member of staff is Yun Yang, a project and sales manager who has a Masters degree
from Nottingham University in the UK.

She is already promoting B-Tech’s AV mounting solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.

The new office means B-Tech has a physical presence in seven countries including the UK.

They are Belgium, Germany, Spain, Singapore China/Hong Kong and North America.

Managing Director Matt Bennett said: “While our base in is Daventry in Northamptonshire the
industry is worldwide.

“And it is important to stay ahead of the game and take advantage of new markets and
growing economies.

“There is no substitute for having a physical presence on the ground and that is why we are
investing heavily in this area.

“We are keen to expand into the Asia-Pacific region and our new office is a hub for that whole
area.

“It is a very exciting time at B-Tech as we spread to new parts of the world.”
